Our Spring Benefit Committee volunteers rose to the monumental creative and project management challenge during the weeks and months proceeding the Spring Benefit.

CFIS awarded BP A+ for Energy grant: Students to travel across Canada, internationally to tour power plants

CFIS recently received a $10,000 BP “A+ for Energy” award that will allow next year’s Grade 9 students to embark on a year-long environmental project to tour power plants in a unique real-world initiative by the Secondary Division science department.  

Demonstrating our fluency in music

The “Calgary French, Music & International School” might have a particularly nice ring to it for those who attended the Spring Band Concert at the University Theatre on May 19. Our school is diverse in the curricular and co-curricular programming provided to students, but is most likely to be recognized for its language programs, which comprise French, English, and eventually Spanish.
