Developed in 2013, our school's five-year strategic plan is now in its third year of implementation; it guides and informs our continued focus on providing students in every grade with the highest-quality, full French immersion education available in Canada.
Created through the collective efforts and engagement of parents, students, teachers and staff, this robust document forms the blueprint for our work together over the next four years focused on the school's vision:
Calgary French & International School graduates will be
active global citizens with a foundation for life-long success, and
our school will be the leader in French immersion
and international education.
The Calgary French & International School's five-year strategic plan has four key goals:
The implementation of this plan includes, to name but a few components, pursuing recognition as a UNESCO school, increasing international programming and cultural exposure at the school, diversifying our extensive travel studies program, developing and implementing an enhanced website and school brand, expanding our technology-based methods of international communication, and applying for accreditation with the Canadian Association of Independent Schools.
An important part of our strategic plan is integrated a Mutual Respect Policy. Click on the link for details about this important document.
