The Calgary French & International School’s five-year strategic plan is a living document. It is referenced on a daily basis by our leadership team and used by faculty and staff to ensure alignment between our new and existing projects and our collective goals as a school.
The strategic plan includes four major organizational goals focused on meeting our mission, which is to develop each student’s individual and academic potential through full French immersion, an international focus and the development of the whole student in a rich and dynamic learning environment.
Created through the collective efforts and engagement of parents, students, teachers and staff, this robust document forms the blueprint for our work together over the next four years focused on the school's vision:
Calgary French & International School graduates will be
active global citizens with a foundation for life-long success, and
our school will be the leader in French immersion
and international education.
The Calgary French & International School's five-year strategic plan has four key goals:
The implementation of this plan includes, to name but a few components, pursuing recognition as a UNESCO school, increasing international programming and cultural exposure at the school, diversifying our extensive travel studies program, developing and implementing an enhanced website and school brand, expanding our technology-based methods of international communication, and applying for accreditation with the Canadian Association of Independent Schools.
