The Spirit of Giving at CFIS

Thanks to our wonderful families, CFIS boasts amazing student and family experiences, and a warm welcoming community. Our school’s mission is to develop each student’s individual and academic potential, through full French immersion, an international focus, and development of the whole student in a rich and dynamic learning environment. We are so proud of our vibrant school community of students, staff, parents and families!

Like many independent private schools, CFIS depends on the support of our entire community to do this. Tuition fees paid by families cover the day-to-day operating expenses of the school (including faculty and staff salaries, facility rent and maintenance, educational supplies and curriculum supports). However, it is the generosity of our community of parents, alumni and friends that enables the school to move forward with capital improvements, co-curricular enhancements and programs. As with most independent schools, the provision of these enhanced services, facilities and programs depends upon the level of charitable giving.

The Spirit of Giving at CFIS extends through philanthropy and volunteerism. Both types of giving are an important part of our community, and there are countless opportunities to become involved at the school. Giving of time is a great way to get to know the school, your child’s friends, and their families. As a community, we share in the joy of watching the students grow.

The generous financial support of current and former CFIS families and alumni allows CFIS to offer leading-edge programming, provide creative and innovative learning spaces, and expand the school’s footprint for current and future generations. The CFIS community enriches and enhances the educational experience for all students, and allows our school to grow and flourish.
